Job Openings Positions Before/After School Site Directors Before/After School Site Group Leaders Description The YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South is seeking qualified individuals to work in our Before and After School programs for kindergarten through grade 8. Part-time employment is available beginning from August through May. Should enjoy children and have a desire to work with the child care director to improve activities and curriculum. Positions are available in Memphis, Collierville, Millington, West Memphis, AR, and Olive Branch, MS. Qualifications Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old High School diploma or equivalent. CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus Mandatory training is provided by the YMCA Additional qualifications may apply. Salary Information Pay rate is $6.25 - $10 per hour, based on experience. Outdoor seasonal employment is available beginning from May through September. Part-time year-round indoor employment is also available. Positions are available in Memphis, Collierville, Millington, West Memphis, AR (summer only), and Olive Branch, MS. Qualifications Minimum age: 16 �� Current state approved first-aid Certification Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer/Healthcare Provider Current Lifeguard Certification If you hold certifications other than YMCA, you MUST attend and successfully complete the first available training for YMCA Lifeguard Crossover. Applicant must be able to react calmly and respond quickly in an emergency situation and physically able to meet the swimming requirements. Maintain records of pool chemicals, pool attendance and maintain safe swimming conditions in pools, on decks, and surrounding areas. Possesses mature judgment and sound decision making. Ongoing training is offered at most local branches for those requiring recertification, or certification. Contact your local YMCA.
