The Cordova Family YMCA is proud to offer 4 courts for tennis lessons, clinics, tournaments, and family fun. Courts are available on a first come first serve basis EXCEPT when reserved by the Tennis Director. If you do not have your own equipment you can borrow rackets and balls from the Welcome Center in exchange for an ID or keys.

Cost:
Tennis Lessons – One on one instruction with our Tennis Director
Members: $25 half hour, $45 hour
Non-Members: $30 half hour, $50 hour

Pickleball

Ages: 8 and up

Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a wiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Days & Times:
Monday & Wednesday, 11:30am-2:30pm (Adults only)
Friday, 11:30am-1:30pm (Beginners/Families)

Cordova Shotokan Karate

Ages: 8 and up – all levels

Karate may be defined as a weaponless means of self-defense. It consists of dynamic offensive and defensive techniques using all parts of the body to their maximum advantage. Karate as self-defense is one of the most dynamic of all the martial arts. The values of Karate are numerous. It provides exercise for both our mental and physical health and also tones the body, develops coordination, quickens reflexes, and builds stamina.

Days & Time:
Tuesday and Thursday – 7:15 – 8:45pm (Gym)
Saturday – 10:30 – 12:00pm (Group Fitness Studio)

Member:
Individual $40 per month
Family each additional participant $25 month
(must be on same YMCA family membership)
Non-Member:
Individual $50 per month
Family each additional participant $35 monthly

Additional Info:
Membership to Shotokan Karate of America is required after completing 4 weeks of practice.
