WELLNESS CHALLENGE

Stretch Yourself In More Ways Than One

Join our 30-day Wellness Challenge. This 15 Workout Challenge will earn you a free Y t-shirt and keep you motivated all through February!

February 6th – March 6th

CHALLENGE GUIDELINES:

  • Complete 15 Workouts between February 6th and March 6th
  • Minimum of 30 Minutes = 1 Workout
  • Maximum 1 Workout Per Calendar Day
  • Age 10 & up

STEP 1:

Register at the Welcome Center to give us your information and t-shirt size

STEP 2:

Choose how you want to track your workouts. You can track your workouts on the Wall Poster at your branch or Download our Workout Tracking Network App!

WORKOUT TRACKING NETWORK APP

This digital wellness solution will help us connect, engage and interact with you. You can set goals, track workouts, and compete in challenges. You can also link and use your other favorite apps and devices ( Fitbit, MyFitnessPal, Nike+ & More!)

Directions: 

On your phone, go to the Apple Store or Google Play Store to download our app. Search for YMCA Memphis or Memphis Workout to find the app with white “Y” logo and purple background by Netpulse Inc.

Once you download the app, you can log in or create your XID and get tracking! See any Wellness Staff for more information.

STEP 3:

Track your workouts to complete the challenge and earn your free t-shirt!

Aqua Zumba®

New Classes

Aqua Zumba® is the new hit Latin dance/exercise routine that will not only help you reach your fitness goals, but make sure you have a great time doing so! Listen to world music while learning new dance moves from all around the world. This invigorating low impact program is easy on your joints.

Days/Times:
Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. and Fridays at 6:45 p.m.

Ages: Appropriate for all ages and ability levels.

Bring it Food Hub

The Y will partner with Bring It Food Hub to offer produce subscriptions. This is a weekly delivery of fresh local fruits and vegetables. The Fogelman Y will become a pick-up location for members who sign up for a subscription.

Private Swim Lessons

The Y offers private swim lessons for those who prefer more individual attention and more flexible scheduling. Semi-private lessons are also available.

Each lesson is 30 minutes.

Social “Fitness” Club

Social Fitness is a group for members of the Fogelman YMCA and friends of the YMCA to share their healthy living outside the walls of our historic building. Join us for monthly “meet ups” for members and their guests! Special outings are planned each month.

TRX/Cardio Circuit

Ages: Adult

TRX Suspension Training was developed by the US Navy. Now you can get the same training in a small group setting under the supervision of an experienced trainer. The body weight exercises build power, strength, flexibility and balance.
