To help you reach your Wellness Goals, we want to understand more about you. We offer several options to help us get to know you.


Meet with one of our Personal Trainers to discuss your goals to become healthy. Learn the operations of the Wellness Center as well as instruction on how to use the cardio and strength training equipment with safe and proper technique. Your meeting may also include basic fitness tests as chosen by you to assess your current health level. Ask the Welcome Center about how to make your appointment.


An introduction on how to use our cardio and strength equipment with safe and proper technique. FREE for members.


Personal training can make the difference in the success of your fitness program. If you need that extra motivation and one on one attention, we are here to help. Your trainer builds an extensive health history and fitness assessment to determine your goals and then guides you through a personalized program. Prices available upon request.

Teen Girl Working Out

PT Express

This group PT class will include  plyometric & body resistance exercises that will increase their self-esteem; body image and encourage well-being while working out in a group setting in the Wellness Center.

Adult: Tuesdays & Thursdays,  9:30 a.m. and Wednesdays, 6:00 a.m.

Location: The Wellness Center


$5 Members | $8 Non-members/per class

$40 Members | $70 Non-Member for 10 classes

Family Fitness

Have personal constant contact with a YMCA professional Wellness Coach. They will meet with you and your 10-15 yrs. old for (4) appointments throughout a 12 week period and guide you through a fitness program utilizing proper technique and performance of our wellness services.  After completion of this program your 10-15 year old will have access to the Wellness center with a supervision adult. FREE with Household membership. Make your appointment with your favorite Wellness Coach.


Preschool Yoga Classes

Preschool Yoga classes are designed to increase your child’s flexibility, balance and stamina in a group setting.

Youth Station


Massage Therapy

We offer massage therapy for relaxation, pain relief and sport specific needs. Sandi Kimbro, LMT is certified in deep tissue, trigger point and pregnancy massage.

Personal Training

Ages: Youth through Adult (Ages 10 & Up)

Description: A personal trainer will educate and motivate you through effective but safe exercise programming designed around your physical needs, goals, and limitations using various equipment such as TRX, resist-a-balls, tubing, dumbbells, etc.

Registration Dates: Ongoing throughout the year upon request

Personal training is available for ages 10 and up. All of our trainers have national certifications and can design a training program just for you.

1 on 1 (cost per hour):
Members – $40
Program Members – $60
1 on 1 (10 Hours):
Members – $350
Program Members – $550
Buddy 1:2 (cost per hour):

Group PT 1:3 or more (cost per hour):

Fitness Testing Program

The Functional Fitness Testing Program is a series of six simple tests designed to measure strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.

The test is primarily for seniors who are at risk of losing their independence. It is for those seniors who are currently inactive or not doing regular strength training.

A fitness staff person will administer the test and interpret the individual results. They will then modify a program to meet specific needs, following up every two weeks to check progression. At the end of 10 weeks the test is retaken as a measure for improvement

12-Week Fitness Program

This program is designed to help the non-exerciser develop habits that will make them an exerciser for life.

Program includes the following:

  • Personal Fitness Coach
  • Goal Setting and Evaluation
  • Four one-on-one personal coaching sessions in four week intervals
  • Beginners Workout Routine


Wellness Meetings: Assessments & Consultations

Developed through 150 years of experience and professionalism in the spirit, mind, and body arena, YMCA Wellness Meetings are a FREE service ($75 value) with your active YMCA membership. Meetings may involve any and all components as determined by the member, including:


  • Health screen/medical release (if necessary)
  • Resting heart rate
  • Body composition
  • Cardiovascular fitness (3 minute step)
  • Height
  • Weight
  • Blood Pressure
  • Flexibility (sit and reach)
  • Strength and endurance (1/2 sit-ups / 1/2 pushups)
  • Consultation


  • Cardio equipment demonstration
  • Workout program set-up
  • Target heart zone
  • Aerobic exercise
  • Strength training equipment demonstration
  • Stretching
  • Follow-up

Re-evaluation recommended every three to six months to: Adjust your goals and program design Chart your progress throughout the year
