Labor Day Mega Class

Get ready to burn those Labor Day calories off and get ready for Fall with our Mega Memorial Day Class. Join Candace and Candice in the Aerobics Room for a mix of weights and cardio!

Cost: Free to Members




BODYPUMP® is the original barbell class for absolutely everyone.
Instructors will show you all the moves and techniques to make your
first class safe, fun and give you strength for everyday life.

BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout that burns
calories, shapes, and tones without building bulky muscles. The
encouragement, motivation, and great music in every BODYPUMP
class will achieve the results you want and deserve!




Lifeguard Class

This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a lifeguard and professional rescuer. Upon successful completion of this course participants will be certified in ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute’s CPR Pro, Basic First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, and YMCA lifeguard).

Age: 16 & Up (Must complete prerequisites first night of class)
-Must have access to computer/email for e-learning modules.
-Be prepared for swim sessions and classroom on each day.
-The last day will include a written and water test.

Cost: $200 Member / $250 Non-member
Payment will be required upon completion of prerequisite swim.

Get the personal attention, motivation, and expertise you need to achieve your health and fitness goals with the YMCA personal training. Our nationally certified YMCA personal trainers are here to serve you and help you reach your fitness goals. They have the knowledge and expertise to develop a safe and effective wellness program to best address your specific needs and interests.

Registration: See Wellness Center staff for personal training options and to schedule your training. Training is provided by YMCA staff trainers only  with a 24–hour cancellations policy. (members may not bring their own personal trainers).  Groups must purchase packages at same time.

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a small-group program that helps adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being following a cancer diagnosis. Through this program YMCAs are creating communities among cancer survivors and guiding them through safe physical activity, helping them build supportive relationships, and reducing stress – leading to an improved quality of life.

Begins: Monday, August 29, 2016
Days: Mondays & Thursdays
Time: 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Duration: 12 weeks
Cost: Free of Charge

The program consists of group exercise using cardio equipment and strength training machines, guest speakers, and more, all in a support group atmosphere. The program is open to the public and will be free of charge.

To become a part of this session participants need to be 18 years old and up. Participants with any type of cancer are welcome. They may be going through treatments or not — may even be long time cancer survivor that needs help getting back to their normal life.

Middle School Afterschool Program

It can be hard to figure out your place in the world. As a young person, having the right guidance and support can make a real difference in figuring out who you are and what you can achieve. The Y is committed to nurturing children and teens for their success.

The Olive Branch Family YMCA is proud to partner with:

  • Center Hill Middle School
  • DeSoto Central Middle School
  • Lewisburg Middle School
  • Olive Branch Middle School
    Bus transportation picks up at these schools and brings them to the Olive Branch Family YMCA.

6th- 8th grade
