Healthy Kids Day will include fun active play and educational activities to keep kids moving and learning, in order to maintain healthy habits and academic skills to achieve goals and reach their full potential.

Learn football fundamentals without heavy contact. In Youth Flag Football, the focus is on teamwork in a positive and structured environment. Children will learn passing and other aspects of the game that will keep them active and help them develop skills such as hand-eye coordination.In addition, children will have an opportunity to develop leadership skills and build self-esteem as they improve their technique.

This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a lifeguard and professional rescuer. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be certified in ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute’s CPR Pro, Basic First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, and YMCA lifeguard). Minimum age to take the course is 16 and participants must successfully complete the prerequisites on the first night of class. Sign up now; space is limited. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Must have access to computer/email for e-learning modules. Be prepared for swim sessions and classroom on each day. The last day will include a written and water test.

During this program, a Fitness Coach will provide instruction on all equipment as well as explain basic exercises to improve cardio fitness as well as upper and lower body strength. Your Fitness Coach is there to answer questions, keep you motivated, and keep you accountable as you complete the program. Graduates of this program are equipped and well prepared to be successful in a continued exercise and strength training program; often transitioning them into the Wellness Center.

Ages: 16-99 years of age
This class covers the fundamental first aid with CPR and AED skills for adults, children, and infants. Once completed, participants will receive a two year American Heart Association Certification card.
Registration: Register two weeks prior to class. Class limit is 5 minimum and 9 maximum.
