Healthy Kids Day


Saturday, April 29th

Join us as we celebrate YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day®, the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of families. Healthy Kids Day will include fun active play and educational activities to keep kids moving and learning, in order to maintain healthy habits and academic skills to achieve goals and reach their full potential.

All activities are free and open to the public.

Healthy Living Expo

If you are an active older adult but are young at heart, join us for our Healthy Living Expo! There will be vendors, games, as well as a SilverSneakers® Mega class! Afterwards lunch will be served.

Life-Saving Classes

Heart Saver First Aid with CPR & AED

This class covers the fundamental first aid with CPR and AED skills for adults, children, and infants. This course also includes basic first aid and environmental emergencies. This class is approximately 5 hours in duration, with an 8 participant limit. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a two year American Heart Association Certification card. Register at the Welcome Desk.

April 15th           8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Guitar Lessons

Sundays At The Y!

Make some music and learn how to play guitar at the Y! Sessions will be held for both Youth and Adults, Beginners & Experienced players. Participants in this program will meet on Sundays during sessions based on experience level. Sign up at the Welcome Center!

Intermediate Class (Youth)
Time: 1:00 p.m.

Electric Guitar (Adult)
Time: 2:00 p.m.

Beginner (Youth)
Time: 3:00 p.m.


Spring 2017 Swim Lessons

At the Y, we believe that the ability to swim is a critical life skill for every child, teen, and adult. In group swim lessons we use a variety of fun methods to help kids overcome fears, build confidence in the water and develop skills that last a lifetime. Qualified instructors meet kids at their own level, help families set achievable goals and celebrate success together.

Sessions are 4 weeks long, meeting twice each week for a total of 8 classes. Classes are 45 Minutes and meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at different times based on skill level. (Shrimp classes are 30 Minutes and meet Tuesdays ONLY)

Class times:
5:00 p.m. – Shrimp(Parent/Child), Pike, Eel, Ray
6:00 p.m. – Polliwog, Guppy, Minnow, Fish
7:00 p.m. – Adult

Parent/Child   Member $30, Non-Member $50
Preschool, Youth, or Adult   Member $60, Non-Member $100

*Note: $15 Late Fee will be applied for late registration

SNAAP- We Need Volunteers

The Special Needs Athletic and Aquatics Program is in need of volunteers. If you have a passion for helping special needs children, please sign up at the welcome center to volunteer on Friday afternoons. Make a difference in a child’s life!

Kids Fit Olive Branch YMCA

New KidsFit Class Is Here

Get up and get moving!

Your children will love our addition of another kids fit class! Let your kids have fun while exercising at the same time. An instructor will lead the participants from the Youth Center into the gym for this half hour class and play a sport related activity.

Days: Now on Mondays & Wednesdays!

Time: 5:30 p.m.


  • Must check your child into Youth Center before the start of class to participate
  • Need comfortable clothing to move freely; tennis shoes preferred
  • Follows rules and guidelines from YMCA Staff
