Join certified personal trainer Carla Montano in this great class for youth who want to be more active. Carla combines body weight calisthenics and light weightlifting to improve balance, coordination, and strength. With workouts that can be scaled for all, Youth Strength & Conditioning can equally benefit both the newer athlete as well as the less active individual.
Dates: September 11 – December 4 (No class Monday, October 9th)
Time: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Members: $50 every 4 weeks or $150 at time of registration for all 12 weeks
Non-Members: $65 every 4 weeks or $195 at time of registration for all 12 weeks

Looking for training for the more seasoned athlete? Focus on speed, agility, and improved stats, in our Sports Performance Program led by Austin King.
The Y will be offering STEM activities this fall for kids in Kindergarten – 5th grade. Classes target building skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Each 1 hour session includes a different activity during the 8 week series. Space is limited. Register today!

The YMCA at Schilling Farms is proud to now offer dance classes for ages 2 – 9 years old! Classes in multiple genres provide students with a comprehensive dance education that promotes confidence, self-expression, body awareness, musicality, and appreciation for the arts.
Students will learn age-appropriate basic dance movements, positions and terminology in an active playful manner. Ballet slippers and apparel are recommended but not required.
Days/Times: Mondays 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. or Tuesdays 3:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Cost: Members $40, Non-Members $55
Offer creative movement, ballet basics with simple dance steps, rhythm and coordination skills. A perfect class for younger dancers with little or no dance experience. Ballet slippers are required. Dance apparel is recommended.

Students will be introduced to the skills of an age-appropriate ballet class, in an active, playful manner. Ballet slippers are required. Dance apparel is recommended.

With Instructor Linda Students will be introduced to fun street hip hop steps, easy to learn fun hip hop moves, and combinations of jazz technique set to age appropriate music. Fun for all! Boys and girls welcome! Tennis shoes are required.

Get back to functional fitness with out Boot Camp classes! Boot camp is a total body workout program. Workouts are different each day. They include sports conditioning drills, strength training, intervals and traditional endurance cardio drills. Each workout will offer a variety of different exercises to keep you and your body guessing and promote change over the course of the program.
All classes meet in the Aerobics Room. Register at the welcome center.
Join the YMCA at Schilling Farms Developmental Swim Team. Participants must be able to swim at least 25 yards, using a combination of front, back, and breast strokes. Class is designed to improve swim strokes, style, and endurance.
