Healthcare Provider First Aid/CPR

The BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device and oxygen administration), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. This class is approximately 6 hours long with a 6 participant limit. Upon successful completion, participant will receive two-year American Heart Association certification.

Who Needs It? All physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, nursing students, aides, other allied health personnel and lifeguards.

Fees: YMCA Member: $65       Non-member: $75

Classes held monthly on Saturdays at 9 a.m.
