Keith G. Johnson, President & CEO

Keith Johnson is President and Chief Executive Officer of the YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South, an internationally known non-profit organization that serves approximately 160,000 Mid-Southerners each year through 10 full-service branches that offer aquatic, wellness, teen leadership, at-risk youth and senior programs.

Johnson is a 30-year Y veteran and has worked with YMCA organizations in Atlanta, GA; Fort Worth, TX; Richmond, VA; and New Orleans, LA. In 1993, he joined the local Fogelman Downtown YMCA as Executive Director and Vice President. He was promoted to association Chief Operations Officer in 2001 and in 2005 became YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South President and Chief Executive Officer.

A native of Arkansas, Johnson is a Georgia State University graduate. He and his wife, Debbie have two daughters, Ashley and Erin. He is a member of the Memphis Rotary Club, The Leadership Academy 2006 Masters Class, a Paul Harris Fellow, an active member of the Memphis Emmaus Community and has served as Lay Leader of the Collierville United Methodist Church.
