Alpha Center Hours:
Monday through Thursday - 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday - 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday - 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sunday - Closed
The Alpha Center is equipped with a full body weight circuit and cardiovascular equipment. This room specializes in helping adults who are new to fitness, have a health problem that make exercising difficult, or feel that the Wellness Center is too intimidating. You may not feel the need to go through the 12 Weeks to Personal Fitness program, but feel that the Alpha Center is the best start for you and your fitness needs. Requirements include the Alpha Center questionnaire and a Par-Q. For adults answering yes to any health questions, a doctor’s note will be required. Our trained staff will set each individual on a basic workout program. Appointments can be made for that in the Alpha Center. Additionally, because of the small nature of the room, help is always nearby! We feel that the motivation and relationships that are built in this type of environment help you build the knowledge and confidence needed to meet your own personal fitness goals and possibly move on into the Wellness Center when ready. The Alpha Center is also available for teens ages 13–15. The teens must go through an orientation with a staff member before using the Alpha Center. This session will teach them the basic exercise technique (e.g., correct form, breathing technique, speed of movement, etc.). Appointments can be made by our Alpha Center Staff. The room is always supervised by highly qualified fitness staff who are ready to help. Studies have shown that kids within this age group can safely begin lifting weights if done properly and with supervision. Not only will it provide important health benefits and prevent injury, your child will learn the enjoyment of being physically fit!

Our 12-Week Program Coaches are ready to help you meet your basic fitness goals. They'll help you with equipment orientations, teach you cardio and strength training exercises, and provide you the accountability you need to stay on track.
