Support the YMCA Y-CAP program
“I have spent the past 10 years working in, collaborating with, and studying community-based youth programs. In my experience I have never seen a more comprehensive, focused, and professionally run program than the Y-CAP program in Memphis. The staff’s commitment to and impact on these young men is inspiring. They put best-practices from the field of youth development to work and provide, in my opinion, a model program for youth.”
—Paul M. Wright, Ph.D., Associate Professor, College of Education, Senior Faculty Researcher, Center for Research in Educational Policy, The University of Memphis

Y-CAP Endowment Fund
The goal of Y-CAP is to have an endowment fund to support our programs on an ongoing basis. The principle of your gift remains intact and grows, with interest income restricted for the use of Y-CAP programs.
Outright gifts to the Y-CAP program of $1,000 or more and planned gifts—such as a charitable remainder trust, a bequest, gifts of appreciated stock, an insurance policy or other assets—qualify you for membership in the Chairman’s Roundtable. Chairman’s Roundtable members are recognized in Y-CAP publications and at the YMCA Annual Dinner.
There are many opportunities to make a difference by giving of your time to the Y-CAP program. Find out more.
