Y-CAP:
- Is a faith-based program that includes the entire family during which the at-risk youth (10–15 years old) remain in their own home
- Is a holistic program that emphasizes specific values such as caring, honesty, respect and responsibility
- Is nationally recognized as one of the best early intervention programs of the past decade
- Currently serves the Mid-South area, including Memphis, TN (since 1998), DeSoto County, MS (since 2000), and Tate County, MS (since 2008)
Of the youth enrolled in Y-CAP:
- 83% have demonstrated improved behavior choices.
- 87% have demonstrated improved school attendance.
- 63% have demonstrated improved conduct in school.
- 66% have demonstrated an improvement in academic performance.
- 77% have demonstrated improved use of our core values (honesty, caring, respect and responsibility).
