Stroke Development is an advance swim class that helps students, who have already mastered the beginning swim lesson levels, perfect their skills and acquire new ones. This class is for students who can swim at least 25 yards with or without a float belt and is not afraid of the deep water.
While enrolled in this stroke development class, the student is helped to refine the crawl stroke with rotary breathing, the breaststroke, the elementary backstroke, the back crawl stroke, and the sidestroke. The butterfly stroke and flip turns will also be introduced.
It’s recommended that student be able to swim one length across pool with or without flotation device to participate in class.
