The Davis YMCA is proud to offer this quality program associated with the high standards of the American Red Cross.

The Davis YMCA staff will lead classes on the second Saturday of February, April, August and November that will enable participants to become certified in First Aid/CPR/AED for the workplace, schools and communities at the lay responder level. Each class can be taken in whole content or in particular sections. Participants will learn skills through lecture, video demonstrations and skill practice sessions. Participants must complete all skills and pass a written test (with 80% accuracy) to complete each section. Participants will receive a Course Completion Card following successful completion of the course within 30 days. Each class is taught by an American Red Cross-certified Instructor.

Classes will begin at 9 a.m. at the Davis YMCA. For more information about these classes or to have an instructor come to your place of business or church to lead a class, please contact the Aquatics Director at 901.398.2366.
