Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sunday Closed

For your child's safety and well-being, please note the following:

  • Kids Corner staff will receive photo Y-membership cards from both the parent and child at drop-off. Cards will be returned upon pick-up. Members must have a current family membership to access the Kids Corner. Children must be signed in and out by the same parent each visit. No exceptions.
  • Parents are asked not to enter the Kids Corner during drop-off and pick-up unless a child needs to be changed or is crying. Parents are welcome to come in and spend time with their child during the first few visits.
  • Parents must stay on the property while the child is in the Kids Corner. Parents will list their workout location on the sign-in sheet. As a rule, staff is not allowed to escort children to other YMCA classes.
  • Children age 6 weeks to 4 years. When Club 1185 is not open, children up to age 10 are welcome.
  • Two-hour time limit per day for any child in Kids Corner: twenty (20) children maximum when 2 staff persons are present.
  • Parents of children needing a diaper change will be found in the facility or paged in the YMCA if necessary. If a child cries for more than five (5) minutes, the parent will be notified and child may need to be removed for the day.
  • Children who hit, bite or do not listen to directions given by staff will be put in time-out and parents will be notified at pick-up. After the second occurrence in one day, the parent will be found and the child will be removed from the Kids Corner for that day. Staff may determine that it is in the best interest of all involved for a particular child not to be in the Kids Corner until behavior is addressed.
  • No food allowed due to food allergies. Drink cups and bottles are allowed when labeled with the child's name. Please, no outside toys.
  • If child is not walking, an infant carrier must be provided. All children must be wearing socks or shoes. No strollers are permitted for space reasons.
  • For the health of all involved, children who have a discharge of any kind from the nose or eyes that is not clear, and children who have had a fever or diarrhea in the last 24 hours should not be in the Kids Corner.
