Message to Summer Camp Families:

Dear Families,

We hope this email finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South has worked to pivot resources and programs to support critical needs in our community. Working together with our school districts, community partners, faith-based organizations and churches we have risen to support our communities through these unprecedented times. We are proud to currently lead over 50 meal distribution sites serving over 15,000 lunches daily to youth. In addition, we are currently operating 12 emergency childcare programs for essential workers.

As an organization, we are evaluating the newly released information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for the operation of day camp programs. Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of your child and we are dedicated to offering an experience that meets and exceeds all recommended safety guidelines. We are uncertain what day camp will look like for Summer 2020 and when we will be able to begin operation of our traditional summer camps.

Due to this, we are cancelling our current day camp program as it currently exists. Once we know what our summer programming will look like, we will send out communication regarding this and open new registration options at that time.

We will be automatically cancelling all registrations and refunding all monies paid towards camp beginning Friday, May 15th. Please allow 5-7 business days for this to be reflected in your account.
