Eligibility Requirements

Families First

  • Must be a Parent/Legal Guardian with a child under 18

    • US Citizenship or Legal Non-Citizen Status

    • Parental or Legal Guardian of a child under 18

    • Residency in an eligible county (Fayette, Hardeman, Haywood, Lauderdale, Shelby, Tipton)

    • Provide proof of:

    • Must be Unemployed, Underemployed, and At or Below the Federal Poverty Level or receiving subsidies such as (Sec 8, DHS Voucher, SNAP, TANF eligible families)

Work Opportunities for Rural Communities (WORC)

  • Unemployed 

    • Tennessee-Shelby, Lauderdale, Haywood, Gibson

    • Arkansas-Woodruff, Crittenden, Mississippi,

    • Mississippi-Marshall, Coahoma, Panola

    • Incumbent Workers (Individuals who make>$15/hour working)

    • Residency or work location in:

    • Interest in a manufacturing sector job
